Brady has been having a blast this summer, between swimming lessons and all the fun stuff they've been doing at school (Clint the Snake Guy brought 8 snakes for the kids to see/touch, fire truck, police car, and ambulance tour for the kids, little chefs training complete with the appropriate hats, spirit days on Mondays (crazy hair/socks/hat day), and of course splash day on Fridays).
This week has been all about Independence. Yesterday, Brady came home and told us he had learned all about the American and Texas flags. Today they are having a dance, and the kids in his class got to go to school dressed up as police, armed services, or firefighters. Since Brady wants to be either a firefighter or an 'engineering' like daddy when he grows up, the firefighter was an easy choice. We spent the morning at Wal-Mart cobbling together a costume, and here's the finished product. He was so proud! The only problem was that no other kids were dressed up when we got to school!!!
Happy 4th of July!
